Workout Guidance
Today is all about finding a breakup strategy on the hang power snatches that will allow us to be aggressive, but sustainable. With the burpee pull-ups, we’re forced to break up the set in the sense that we have to come off the bar each rep. This is not the case with the hang power snatches. Any time a movement is programmed from the hang, we should seek to go for bigger sets, as putting the barbell down represents a period of time where no work is getting done, and we create additional work for ourselves by needing to return the barbell to the hang position before resuming our set.
