30 Russian Kettlebell Swings (70/53#)
30 Goblet Squats (70/53#)
30 Box Jump Overs (24/20”)
Post times to comments.
Find a heavy weight on the kettlebell. Think 1-2 breaks on the swings and squats each round. Stay steady on the box jump overs.

How long have you been doing Crossfit?
I have been doing CrossFit since August, 2013, shortly after we moved to Sudbury. There weren’t many gyms here at that time and I happened to stumble upon CrossFit Union (now Tilt) in my search. One of the best decisions I have ever made from a gym/workout perspective was to walk thru that door almost 6 years ago. I’ve never looked back…
What do you do when you’re not at TILT?
I was working in the pharmaceutical industry in product marketing for several years and I decided to take a break to spend more time with the family. My plan was to take 6 months off, but that has turned into 2 years :). While I do envision going back to the grind soon, right now I’m thoroughly enjoying spending time with my family and taking our dog out on lots of walks in the various Sudbury trails. I also love to travel and I’m really looking forward to our summer vacation plans.
What is something most of TILT doesn’t know about you?
I definitely have some OCD tendencies. People who do know me know I love going to see live music, particularly Phish (whom I’ve seen 107, soon to be 111 times). I’ve gone through various music obsessions over the years. I’d say my first was John Lennon. When I was in the second grade I used to listen to his Double Fantasy album with Yoko Ono all of the time. I also love listening to Howard Stern. I’m obsessed with his Sirius XM app. My weirdest obsession was probably my beanie baby collection in the late 90s. (Yes I did just say beanie baby collection). I still have at least 100 or so in storage including the Princess Diana bear which I know will be worth a lot of money some day. Haha!
Have you had a favorite workout or favorite moment at TILT?
My favorite WODs are the team of 3 WODs because not only do they hold you accountable but you also work really hard, get some rest and grind it out with your team for ~30 mins. I also really like chippers, like filthy 50, and anything with deadlifts and dubs. I have so many favorite memories – but my favorite is prob when CrossFit Union obtained new owners. There was a time when it was going downhill and I really thought it wasn’t going to last. Once new owners came on board and CFU became CrossFit Tilt II, I was so happy that the community and box I loved would continue. As far as favorite moments, I love seeing other athletes hit PRs. It’s just awesome to see the excitement and joy in their faces. That’s one of the biggest reasons why I love CrossFit – seeing people do something they’ve never done before.
Your favorite song/band comes on during class.. what is it? Well in my dreams it would be Tweezer->first tube->2001->chaulkdust->tweezer reprise but you’d probably lose members if you played that. In reality, l really like the 90s hip hop and while you can take the girl out of the 80s you can’t take the 80s out of the girl so I love the Motley Crue, Poison, Guns n Roses, Van Halen, etc. bust outs too.
