400m Run
12 Kettlebell Swings @ 70/53

Workout Guidance
This workout is based on the classic CFNE benchmark, “Cement Mixer.” The only difference is that in this case we’ve swapped the toes to bar for kettlebell swings. We’re looking for a weight on the kettlebell swings that’s challenging but we’re able to hold on for all 12 reps of kettlebell swing. Our big focus today is going to be picking a correct distance for the runs. We want to be running today, rather than jogging or shuffling. It’s important to pick a distance where we can keep a good forward lean and a long stride the entire time. Ideally our rounds take us no longer than 2 minutes and 15 seconds each interval, giving us 45 seconds of rest before the next round. This is an easy workout to get lost in, so modify wisely and avoid the fitness tornado!
