Nicole DeMichele

My name is Nicole DeMichele and I first started CrossFit in 2014. After doing Murph (well, partial Murph) as my first WOD, I was hooked! I have been at Tilt since January of this year and have love working out and getting to know each of you. I just finished my degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at FSU and am also a Certified Sports Nutritionist through AFPA.

I am really excited to facilitate the October Nutrition Challenge! Through my education at FSU and experimentation with my own diet, I know the positive impact that a healthy and consistent eating plan can have on one’s overall health- both physically and mentally. I know firsthand that when I eat well I perform better both in and out of the gym, but I also have challenges so hopefully by doing this together we will see the positive results it can have!

Many of you wrapped up the June Challenge with great success so I want to build on that! The October Challenge will be very similar with a few tweaks. It is designed to gradually ease us from a detox phase to the quantity phase. My hope is that you will finish the challenge with a greater understanding on the types of foods and quantities you need to properly fuel your body and keep you performing at your best.  

I believe that nutrition is very individual and what works for each person will be different, so I encourage you to be open minded and flexible during this challenge so you can learn what works best for you and use it as a platform moving forward. I look forward to meeting those of you I haven’t yet and collaborate on ways I can assist you in improving your nutrition!
