Athlete of the Month
Congrats to Vinnie Minucci on being our Athlete of the Month for November! We asked Vinnie a few questions below to get to know him a little better!

1. When did you start CrossFit?
I started CrossFit in April of 2019 after my wife, Nadia won a raffle for a free month of Tilt

2. What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is spanakopita (Greek spinach pie- spinach, onions, feta cheese wrapped in phyllo dough), especially my grandmother’s recipe.

3. If you could choose a superhero power, what would it be?
My superhero power would have to be the power of flight. Something about being able to soar high above the clouds always appealed to me!

4. If you won a million dollars, what is the first thing you would purchase?!
We would definitely look into supporting some of our favorite charitable organizations, especially IOCC (International Orthodox Christian Charities) who specialize in disaster response and relief around the world.

5. What is your favorite activity to do outside the gym?
My favorite activity outside of the gym would have to be spending time with my wife, Nadia. Whether it’s catching up on our favorite Netflix shows, gardening and working outside together or simply going for a walk, life’s better with her!

6. What is your favorite CrossFit movement?
My favorite CrossFit activity would have to be the bike. I feel like I have good power and speed on it and I really enjoy it. My favorite CrossFit movement would probably be the power clean.

7. If you had any advice to give someone thinking about trying CrossFit, what would it be?
My advice for someone thinking about trying CrossFit is simple, DO IT, come and give it a try. Before coming to Tilt, I had a terrible CrossFit experience that really turned me off to it for years but the coaching staff at Tilt makes me feel confident that I am learning the skills properly and safely. I’ve felt challenged to improve against myself and not the person next to me. I feel changed for the better since coming to CrossFit and look forward to many happy and healthy years thanks to Tilt!
