Find out more about Lori below..
First, thanks for recognition! I know that no matter how crazy my long days are,  I can always count on feeling better if the gym is a part of my day. The coaching, community and positive energy are the things that keep me coming back. I consider myself lucky to be healthy and have the ability to move along the side of the folks in the Tilt community.

When and how did you get started with CrossFit?
A friend and co-worker went to a box in Boston and talked about it often. I was curious and also bored with the regular gym and the workout DVDs I was doing at home. I noticed that CFU was in Sudbury and I decided to give it a try. I love to learn new things and the location was close, so I was hooked.

Favorite workout?
I like chipper WODs like Filthy Fifty and also like other longer ones that are a good combination of barbell movements like cleans or deadlifts, coupled with cardio.

Least favorite workout?
WODs that include overhead squats. What is your favorite genre of music? HIP-HOP! I love 90’s hip-hop/rap but also some newer stuff. I also like classic and grunge rock.

What is your go-to karaoke song?
Oh so many hip-hop songs…which all require many cocktails to jump start my rapping skills.  It Takes Two, Brass Monkey, Insane in the Brain…I could go on.

When you are not at TILT, what is your favorite thing to do?
I love spending time with my family. We have two little girls and we love to travel, go the beach, hike and just enjoy being with one another and the outdoors.

Tell us 3 things that we may not know about you…
1. I first learned to walk with a broken leg. I can thank my sister for this and I’ve been clumsy ever since.
2. Some of y’all know this already but I was born and raised in Louisiana.
3. I wanted to travel after graduating from college so I figured I might as well get paid to do it. I was a flight attendant for a couple years, which is what brought me to Boston and led me to become a germaphobe.  My Yankee husband, career and friends are what have kept me here in this cold climate. I’m on the beach the minute my kids go to college! I’ve got 12 more years…
