40 weighted sit-ups (single dumbbell)
A fun lower body and midline focused AMRAP to close out the work week. This one features two variations of single leg work – one weighted and one unweighted. For the step ups, hold a pair of light to moderate DBs. For the lunges, focus on keeping a vertical torso and driving with the front leg. For the weighted sit ups, hold the DB across the top of your chest and try not to roll it down your torso to create momentum. This one will be a bit of a grind, so expect more of a muscular fatigue feeling more than out of breath feeling.
